Policies

Full payment is required when placing your order. Your order is not considered confirmed until full payment has been received. For bulk and event orders, payment in full is required to reserve your order date and begin preparation.

Minor changes may be accepted up to 24 hours before your pickup date, depending on availability. Because orders are prepared specifically for each customer, cancellations made after an order has been placed may not be eligible for a refund. If you need to make a change or cancel your order, please contact The Shy Cookie Girl as soon as possible. Requests are handled on a case-by-case basis depending on how far along the order is in preparation.

Once your order has been picked up, responsibility for the order transfers to the customer. The Shy Cookie Girl is not responsible for damage that occurs after pickup, including damage caused during transportation, handling, weather exposure, or improper storage.

Please arrive during your scheduled pickup time. Orders not picked up on the agreed-upon date and time may be subject to a rescheduling fee if alternative arrangements are needed. If an order is not picked up within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time and no communication is received, the order may be considered abandoned, and no refunds will be issued.

The Shy Cookie Girl may photograph finished orders for use on the website, social media, and other bakery marketing materials. Customer names and personal information will never be shared without permission.

Products are prepared in a home kitchen that may process common allergens including wheat, eggs, milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens. While every effort is made to prevent cross-contact, The Shy Cookie Girl cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

No refunds will be offered due to personal preference regarding taste, texture, or flavor. If there is an issue with your order, please contact me within 24 hours of pickup so I can address your concerns. If there is a mistake on my part—such as an incorrect or missing item—I will gladly provide a full refund or correct the order at no additional charge.

For bulk and event orders, payments are non-refundable if an event is canceled or significantly changed due to weather, illness, venue changes, or other circumstances outside of The Shy Cookie Girl’s control after the order has been booked. When possible, I may offer a rescheduled pickup date if my availability allows.
