Roman Empire Co. is located in Marion, KS but we serve all surrounding areas as we're able.

We currently offer shipping on non-perishable products only. Any fresh-baked items or perishables require local pickup or delivery. For more information, please see our Pickup & Delivery Policy.

While we don't have an option to order fresh-baked goods at any time through our website, if you contact us by phone, text, email, or Facebook, we are happy to accept custom requests as we are able.

Our kitchen handles several common allergens, including wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. Because our products are made in the same kitchen and may share equipment and preparation surfaces, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens or cross-contact.

We provide ingredient information for our products and are always happy to answer questions about specific ingredients. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please reach out before placing your order so we can help you determine whether a product is appropriate for you.

Being a cottage bakery simply means Roman Empire Co. is a small, home-based bakery. Our products are made in a home kitchen rather than a traditional commercial bakery.

We operate under Kansas’ cottage food regulations, which allow small businesses like ours to make and sell certain foods directly to customers from a home kitchen while still maintaining proper food safety and high quality products.

For Food Items

Because our baked goods and food products are perishable, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds simply because a customer changes their mind, does not like a product, or is unable to pick up their order.

If there is an issue with your order—such as receiving the wrong item, a missing item, or a product arriving damaged—please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery. We want to make it right whenever we can.

For Non-Food Items

Unused and undamaged home goods may be eligible for return within 7 days of receiving your order. Items must be in their original condition. Used, altered, damaged, improperly cared-for, final-sale, and certain custom or personalized items may not be eligible for return or exchange.

If you ever receive an item that isn't right, please reach out to us. We're always happy to work with you when we can!
