Question 1

When can we pre-order?

Accepted Answer

Every other Sunday. Orders stay open until Wednesday or until we sell out.

Hotplate subscribers get first crack before we share on socials.

Want to be extra sure you don't miss it? Hit "Never Miss a Drop" above.

Question 2

What if you sell out before I order?

Accepted Answer

It happens. Hotplate subscribers get first crack before we share on socials.

If you want to be extra safe, hit "Never Miss a Drop" above. We'd hate for you to miss out.

Question 3

Where can I pick up? Can you add more locations?

Accepted Answer

When you order, you’ll choose a pickup spot and time through Hotplate. The dates, times, and locations vary by drop.

Right now, we partner with The Fox & Bottle and Jester’s Pet Supply in (Edmonds).

Want us closer to you? Tell us where! Pickup and delivery options expand as our capacity (and cookie fans) grow.

Question 4

Where do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

Right now: 98020, 98026, 98043, 98177, 98133, 98036, 98037, 98155.

If you don’t see your zip, email us at hey@thisispapernapkin.com. Where you ask us to be helps us decide where to expand.

Question 5

I can’t make it during the pickup windows offered for this drop. What are my options?

Accepted Answer

Pickup windows shift from drop to drop depending on our kitchen schedule, so check back, next time might work better for you.

If you’re in a delivery zone, that’s often the easiest backup. And if neither works, tell us! We’re always open to feedback on times and locations as we grow.

Question 6

What if I can’t make my chosen pickup slot anymore? Can I switch to delivery instead?

Accepted Answer

Email us at hey@thisispapernapkin.com (with your order number) and we’ll do our best to help. Once baking starts though, we can’t cancel or refund.

If you can’t make it, you can gift your cookies to a friend or we can donate them locally.

Question 7

Can I cancel my order?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel any time before orders close on Wednesday, just email us at hey@thisispapernapkin.com or message through Hotplate.

After that, your cookies are locked in. Once we start baking, there’s no going back (literally, the butter’s already browned).

If you can’t make your scheduled pickup or delivery, email us with your order number and we’ll do our best to help, but refunds aren’t on the table once the ovens are on.

Question 8

Do you make vegan, gluten-free, or allergen-free cookies?

Accepted Answer

We do make a vegan, dairy-free, gluten-friendly cluster, though it's not always on the menu.

We bake in a shared commissary kitchen, so cross-contamination is always a risk. We do our best (PB cookies are baked last, for example) but nothing can be guaranteed allergen-free.

Question 9

I want a flavor I don’t see listed.

Accepted Answer

Old flavor? It's in the vault now. Occasionally we bring them back out but you can always custom-order them as well (1 doz minimum per flavor).

New flavor? Send us your ideas! DM us on Instagram or email us at hey@thisispapernapkin.com. We keep a running list, and love hearing what you’re craving.

Question 10

Do you cater?

Accepted Answer

Short answer: yes!

If your event lines up with a week we’re already baking, we can often add on. If it’s an off-week though, we need to book extra kitchen time (which adds $$), so it’s only cost-effective for larger orders.

Please email us at hey@thisispapernapkin.com with the details and we’ll see what’s possible.

Question 11

Do you ship?

Accepted Answer

We’re focused on serving our local community for now.

We’ve tried plenty of shipped cookies from other bakeries and they showed up dry and underwhelming. That’s not how we roll. If we're going to add shipping, we want to make sure you get fresh cookies.

Question 12

Do you wholesale? Can I stock Paper Napkin at my shop/bar/spot?

Accepted Answer

Wholesale isn’t on the menu yet, but it’s on our radar. If you’re a stockist interested in carrying Paper Napkin, email us at hey@thisispapernapkin.com.
