About Us
The Hen Box started as a simple idea for an honor system egg cart. Before the cart was even finished, I was already dreaming up homemade goods and baked treats to add alongside the eggs. What began as a way to share a few extras from our flock quickly grew into something much more.
Today The Hen Box is a small farm cart bakery offering fresh baked sourdough, cinnamon rolls, seasonal treats, and other homemade goods. Everything is made in small batches with simple, quality ingredients and a lot of care.
At the heart of it all is our community. Suggested prices help keep the cart going, while still leaving room for a little grace when someone is going through a hard season.
Meet The Baker
Hi, I'm Alex, the baker behind The Hen Box. By day, I work full time, and at home I'm raising two little girls with my husband. Most of The Hen Box is built in the in between hours, after work, after bedtime, and whenever I can squeeze in one more batch. What started as a simple egg cart idea turned into a creative outlet I've genuinely loved sharing with our community.
